Read my full review at The Book Bee**4 stars**A strong debut that brings a welcome change to an oversaturated genre. The almost horror-like twist is refreshing. Limited background information leads the reader astray and sometimes, off a cliff. Regardless, I eagerly await the sequel.

Wow! This book was intriguing. Totally dark, twisted take on angels. Still so many unanswered questions. I really liked Penryn and having to take care of her family aged her much more than her 17 years. (She has to take care of her paraplegic sister and schizophrenic mother- who is off her meds).Thi...

I've thought about this book some more, and still can't decide if I want to give it a 2 or 3 stars rating.See, all things considered, it was an easy, entertaining read for me, and I can't decently blame the book for delivering what I expected from it. Its setting is intriguing, and gives us to see t...

No matter how celestial, no matter how powerful they are, this is our home and we will fight to keep it.This is the beginning of something epic, I can feel it. When it comes to this you really can't judge a book by its cover, or blurb. You may think you know what this is about but You. Have. No. Ide...

This was a funny book to read so soon after City of Bones. In that book, the magic-using folk (wizarding world folk) were called Nephilim, which I strongly objected to; it was one of many misuses or weird twistings of mythology. In Angelfall the word is used more correctly, and to effect. It got a ...

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) - Susan Ee This book was recommended for me in a challenge last month. I didn't get to read it then, but it came so highly recommended that I decided to read it as soon as I got a change. Well, I'm so glad that I did because this novel blew me away! It w...

Full review to come. I would mark this book as four stars but I would give the ending of the book about ten stars!
