Kickin' ghost story with the worst ending ever. If Susan Hill had written a decent ending, this would've rated 5 stars.

This was so memorable that I added it as 'Want to Read' and now I find out that I read it eighteen years ago. That pretty much says it all with regard to my usual response to Susan Hill.
