I'm glad I bought this book when I saw it. I've never seen it since on either a library or bookstore shelf. It's second to Trott's "The Housewife and the Assassin" in my heart, but it's still a love of a book.
Why is this book so hard to find and so relatively unknown? It's a romp, an absolute joy of a read. And it's aged very well -- I was startled to learn it was published in 1979.
