Belle Chasse opens shortly after the surprising conclusion of the previous book, with our heroine, DJ, on the run with her pret friends. She was stripped of her wizarding license by current leader Zrakovi and given a death sentence. Now somewhat safely in the Beyond, in Old Barataria with Jean Lafit...
This book was UTTER PERFECTION There really isn't much I can say about it other than that. I pretty much spend the whole time reading it HUNGRY, LAUGHING MY ASS OFF, or BAWLING MY EYES OUT.Alas, since this is supposed to be a review, I will attempt to convey how much I adored this book with a few wo...
3-1/2 starsPeople that we thought were good guys were not so good and the ending was a "What The Heck!" This book got such a good average rating (above 4 stars) that I was hoping for something stellar. I think the high expectations kind of ruined the book for me, which makes so sense.

The Dark Secrets anthology gives readers a look at six very different paranormal-themed novellas, each with varying degrees of darkness and all with a touch of romance. Marion, Missing? by Rachel Caine Set in post-WWII Texas, Warren Valentine (Val) is mourning the death of his PI partner, Tilde ...
