She is a designer, artist, columnist, TV personality, publisher, art instructor, author, and lover of everything hands-on. Suzanne has authored at least 230 craft & hobby books, sharing her passion for creating and making crafts accessible for others. She is the woman behind Design Originals, a publishing company dedicated to all things fun and creative. She founded Design Originals in 1986 and was the guiding creative spirit there for more than 25 years. Design Originals merged with Fox Chapel Publishing in 2011.Suzanne's creative vision has placed her books on top of the trends for decades. She was one of the first authors to spot the emerging "scrapbooking" trend, and was influential in kicking off the huge scrapbooking movement. Now Suzanne is at the forefront of another growing trend with Zentangle®. She is a leading champion of this incredibly popular mindful drawing method, and has popularized the phenomenon with others in the industry. A Certified Zentangle Teacher, she has authored 17 Zentangle books.
