For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleI put off starting this series for so long, because I was nervous how it would stack up against Shannon Hale's book series (which I loved). I finally broke down and got a copy from the library.I was not disappointed. This is a very well-written book. A ...

After I read the Dexter Charming’s story about his pet (well it was mostly about him x Raven, but oh details), I wanted to read more. I quickly found this one and started it, and sadly I have to say this was just not as good. Not at all. Where the other book was a clean 4 stars, I can’t rate this ...

Another book in this series, and I have to say that while I like them, they start to feel repetitive, even with a new character for each book. It just feels that the story never really progresses. You have Rebels and those that will follow the story without complaints, and that keeps getting pushed ...

Interesting plot (the kind I love to read) but it did not work here. Characters were boring and incredible stupid. ALL of them.

It wasn't bad, and I would recommend it for some light reading, but I didn't completely like it.On the plus side:Writing is decent. I liked most of the characters. I liked how, even though...

Read with daughter, 9. Really liked the cast and story, Pearl is a strong female character. The illustrations were well done and with just the right frequency. Has the makings of a good series. Recommended!

Be forewarned that this book has absolutely no substance whatsoever. What little plot there is, is kind of lame; it’s girly and corny; its climax is basically terrible; and you might want to shoot something once you’re done. But I must admit, this week has been pretty stressful for me. The morning w...

In a terribly deprived world without chocolate, lies a fairy tale waiting to be discovered. The name of this fairy tale is The Sweetest Spell, and with it comes the yumminess and unsurprising taste of chocolate within the plot. Translation: Nothing really special, but enjoyable nonetheless. Now, I...

1 out of 5 Stars Mimi Wallingford is destined to be an actress…against her will. . Mimi would prefer to be a doctor, but her overbearing mother won’t hear of it.
