Lexile Level: NP Basically, twelve mice are dancing and prancing their way around the cat to get to the cake before midnight. I would use this book in kindergarten or first grade to help with counting in my class and telling time, it is just another way to make math more fun for the students.
9/3/13 ** What do you do after a stressful or anger-filled morning with students? I take a break by reading aloud a rollicking book which will engage elementary students in prediction, repetition, and word play. Try it, you'll like it.
