One of the greatest picture books of all time!!!
★★★Swamp Angel by Anne Isaacs A story about a braze young girl, taking on bears, and building a cabin, a good example of folklore.
I found this to be a decent, if not particularly memorable, tall tale. And it's a bit puzzling because I'm a big fan of Zelinsky's artwork and I'm a southerner and can do a pretty darn good accent and this story still just didn't do a whole lot for me.
