Ahh I have missed Zoe Archer. I am so glad I took the time to read this. I loved the setting, the goals, the characters, the complexity inside the characters. Archer has such a great way of phrasing/saying things and dragging me so deeply in the story that I don't notice the passage of time. I a...
In a broad, generalized way, Sweet Revenge by Zoe Archer reminded me of the original Mission: Impossible TV series which I recently discovered due to Me-TV, a channel on local cable. I love this show, and after watching it, I think it just underlines what is wrong with those MI movies starring Tom ...
I went back and forth between 4 & 5 stars on this one but then I figured what the hell, it was a lot of fun. I've only seen the TV show Leverage a few times but I'm familiar with the premise. A group of people with special skills help ordinary people take down the rich & powerful people who have h...
Zoe Archer never fails to impress me with her wonderful narratives. I loved her Blades of the Rose series, and yet Nemesis is even better. I'll never get tired of Archer's voice, and this book really delivers. I am so excited to read the stories of the other Nemesis members. Also, Archer's heroines K...

Lately I’ve read books that are interpretations of fairy tales, one of my eagerly awaited books is based off an action movie and quite a few others are inspired by popular television shows. It’s all about how the author can spin it and make ...
