This is a good graphic novel. The story is simplistic, but interesting. I absolutely loved the character of Gus. He was so innocent and sweet. While the artwork was a little too heavy on the shading for my taste, I am interested in continuing reading the series to find out what happens to Gus.
The Basics Meet Gus. He’s the survivor of an apocalypse he doesn’t fully understand, mainly because his father has protected him from the world his entire life. There was a virus, and those who are left like to hunt, kill, or use in any way they see fit kids like Gus. Meaning kids who are part hum...
I read this before going to sleep the other night and it was an awesome bedtime story. This looks like the beginning of an amazing series, and a must-read for fans of The Walking Dead. No se pinche Lemire te mete en la historia demasiado rápido. Eso me gusta, de repente est...
Lemire's books always make me cry... jeez!
A likable enough series with an interesting folksy spin on the end-of-the-world genre so in vogue these days. Sweet Tooth is the story of Gus, the first human-animal hybrid born mysteriously as a plague sweeps the planet laying waste to the human population. Lemire's writing is crisp and without pre...
