Born and raised in Milwaukee, his passion for the art of film lead him to pursue a degree in Television & Video Production at Milwaukee Area Technical College.    Swift is also the founder of book company RH Publishing, LLC. A venture that was motivated by his interest in showcasing a new wave of talented young authors.   His work in television also includes that of cameraman and floor director for  Milwaukee Public Television (MPTV) programs : Black Nouveau and Cooking Raw.
