Entertaining, but not as good as previous Stone Barrington novels. I like the resourcefulness of Stone in these novels, plus he bags all the hot babes.
What an odd book. Ostensibly set in the present when published in '98, it's really much more like a manuscript from '55 with too few updates. Set in Hollywood, the characters have names like Barbara and Vance, there are mob connections. Straight out of the Bond franchise, every woman Stone meets ...
