Stands on its own as a sequel, though ending fell a little flat. Pleased with her choice of lover, though disappointed more didn't come out of the other option. Fred seems to mature in this book, which is good. And, as always, laughs aplenty. What will the third book hold?

Fred is scarky, sarcastic, and hilarious! Enjoyed very much. Attitude is very similar to Betsy. I wish MJD had written more Fred books.

Nothing major happens in this book. A lot of bitching, a lot of yo-yoing about the same issues and nothing else. I was very disappointed.

I kind of love Fred the mermaid. A cute story and well written, Davidson writes with a good sense of humor.
