I've been on a quest to find a mind-blowing book, so I've been picking up random books to read (which apparently is NOT the way to go about this). Needless to say, Sword of Darkness was not a mind-blowing book, for me at least. I knew I wouldn't like it by 20%, because I already had the plot comp...
If you are a fan of Sherrilyn Kenyon, you may have come across the name Kinley MacGregor. That is because Kinley MacGregor is a pen name for the prolific author and one other reason why I love her! :)In Sword of Darkness, we get a look at Camelot - after Arthur. Now, Camelot is taken over by Morge...
I find it very easy to read MacGregor/Kenyon because her stories are easy to get into and easy to finish. My knowledge of King Arthur is only limited to what I've watched on BBC's Merlin, so the names sound a bit familiar. The next book sounds interesting enough to read soon.
A historical romance with Arthurian overtones. Kerrigan is the king of Morrigan's court. He's lived in an evil world and his emotions are supressed and violence is his life. Into this life comes Seren. He finds himself attracted but her softness is making hims somewhat soft, can he survive an ev...
3.5 stars actually. As per usual for this author, the H has a phD in misery, and the h is an orphan. Because I tend to buy many of my books used, it took me a long time to find this one, during which, I've partially forgotten the second book which I have stashed around here somewhere. So our H, con...
I sort of did not warm up to Kerrigan and his "evilness". And I know, that that's just me. I was also sort of peeved at how he constantly demeaned her, calling her witless and a mouse right after they slept together for the first time. While I concurred with him in that she was pretty foolish, it st...
3.5 StarsSword of Darkness is something I've read previously in the past and really enjoyed it and decided I wanted an actually copy of the book, instead of an ebook. The first time I read Sword of Darkness I gave it four stars this time it only get's 3.5 as I still enjoyed it but I wasn't wowed by ...
My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts as I went with the book. This one's got 2 parts.[note: You have to forgive my really long review but this book was worth it! I had to talk about it all and LOVED Kerrigan.]Alright, I'll try my best to keep the information in this book strai...
I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved how the main character changes but not completely and how the heroine is totally fine with that. Great book.
