Book 1 in the Chaos Knight series by Erin Hoffman just came out and I looked at the cover at Barnes & Nobles thinking "hey, this looks neat." (it has Griffins!) But as they say "you can't judge a book by it's cover," including the back. I also new this girl, but not as author but a video game maker....
