What a motley crew of characters. They provided some laughs and some serious moments together. I felt sorry for them as they tried to deal with personal life upheavals the drama/scandal in the town, conflicting friendship loyalties. Just what I needed last night.

3.5 I think. Read this back a few years ago. I like the world just thought the hero was a jerk sometimes. He had a hard time dealing with the fact that his "death" and intentions to keep the heroine safe didn't quite pan out the way he expected them to.
