T.M. Nielsen was born in Las Vegas, Nevada but grew up in a tiny town in Colorado in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. She started writing in High School but didn't publish until the formation of the heku in 2008. This entire world can be experienced in the 9 book series, The Heku Series. T.M. prefers to write fantasy fiction with a hint of romance thrown in. She writes mainly to entertain herself but strives to provide a fun getaway to her readers so they can leave their lives behind for just a moment and lose themselves in her work. The Dimensions Saga came along after years of playing RPGs and reading books about medieval fantasy. She wanted to create a world with unique twists and realistic romance and situations. Her all-time favorite e-mail came from a woman in the midst of fighting breast cancer. This woman saved the Heku books for her chemotherapy because she could forget about the illness and the hospital by focusing on Chevalier and Emily. That wonderful e-mail proved to T.M. that her goal to help people was now a reality.

I really liked this one! I read it on my kindle app and couldn't put it down. Book one ends in a cliffhanger, so I'm glad I already have the second book. I got this and book two free, but the story is so good that I would buy them in print form.
