Review: All That Glitters
All That Glitters - Kian Rhodes,Alexander Collins

More shenanigans at the omega auction, but this time there are dragons!

All of the packs have kind of melded together. They are all so deeply involved in each others lives thanks to the auction they might as well be one giant pack.

Cyan, a dragon omega is purchased by Trey, a dragon who seems more concerned with growing the dragon population than an actual relationship. But when Cyan begins to waste a way due to his alpha's neglect and the abuse from his caregiver, Trey quickly learns that he cannot deny his feelings and does everything in his power to heal Cyan and win his heart.

Another good edition to the series.

All that Glitters
All that Glitters - Loren K. Jones All that Glitters - Loren K. Jones A fast-paced debut novel.
A warrior society that is renowned for the quality of men it sends to guard the caravans during the trading season. As they grow up, each boy has to do five tours to earn promotion based on any kills they make.

One of these boys is Stavin, who seems to have a lot thrust upon him as the main character. The start of the story seemed rushed, with everything happening to him, then it settled down as he was taken out on his first tour of duty.

Lots happening, usually involving killing bandits and thieves - makes sense as this is how they get promoted to different ranks, but Stavin does become a magnet for a lot of people wishing him ill.
Could have done with a few more tense moments, as you never felt he was going to be in serious trouble.

Overall, it's a good story and I'll be trying book 2 to see what happens next.

All That Glitters: Sol Series 1 - Erin Kellison

The story starts off well.  They have not seen each other in 5 years, not since she left him to go explore uncharted planets, which was her dream.  He almost hates her for leaving him.  Since she has been gone, his life has gone downhill fast and now he is a criminal.  He shoots her ship out of the sky (he doesn't realize it is her spacecraft) and so when they meet things are strained, obviously.  Things start to get rushed once they arrive at the city.  First, she is his captive and she is angry about it and then in the next moment she is helping him and his crew to not get arrested.  When she finds out some of his past, she jumps to his defense and suddenly he is her consort.  He goes from wanting to complete his mission to get off the planet to seducing her and playing the role of consort.  It happened way too fast.  This story could have been developed more, the conflict developed into something that could have made for more than a 91-page story. The wedding event and consequently the attack and heroics of Simon did add to the plot. How they came together afterward and won the chance to be together was romantic. I really did like that sequence of events.  The middle of the story between them leaving the woods to the hatched plan to take place while everyone was at the wedding was the part that was rushed. I would have liked to see more development, to have their reunion prolonged a bit more.  I enjoyed it, but it is a novella, so it has the rushed feel of a novella.
