Raven's Quest
Raven's Quest - Anya Bast

I didn't care for Branna's naivety at the beginning. Very quickly, in short succession, she has to be rescued twice. She also is saving her "sexual magic" for the One. I did think her more by the end of the book. I liked her unselfishness. No need to worry; this is a romance with a HEA.
Gallus and Crispus were the perfect villains. Lucien an excellent hero.

Midnight Enchantment
Midnight Enchantment - Anya Bast

This is the weakest book in the series when you consider the couple.  I didn't buy into Elizabeth and Niall's romance.  It was the constant chase, kidnapping, and deception. And a convenient pairing of someone who has LOTS of sexual experience with a virgin.  Barf.  A big no thanks.  So why four stars?  Well, everything else.  The underlying story-line of all the pieces of the bosca fadbh being in one spot and unlocking a certain book.  I was happy to find out just who was helping the Pheandir from the inside.  And it is someone BIG (and who I didn't like).  Overall, I was very happy with the conclusion.

Dark Enchantment
Dark Enchantment - Anya Bast

Originally wasn't sure about this one because of the compulsion Charlotte was under. I needn't have worried. I thought Charlotte a strong, capable character and a good match for Kieran. I like that while each book is about different couples getting their HEAs, there is also an underlying story line that ties all the books together (in this case ultimately freeing the fae trapped in Piefferburg). And boy, with that story line, things are heating up. There is a bit of a cliff hanger ending, book 4 had better wrap everything up.

Cruel Enchantment
Cruel Enchantment - Anya Bast

Enjoyable, capable, and strong heroine and hero.  Good action and sex scenes.  The villains are evil, love to hate them.  Good setup for the next book.

Hot for the Holidays (Mageverse, #5.5; Breeds, #19; Stormwalker, #0.5; Dark Magick, #0.5) by Lora Leigh, Angela Knight, Anya Bast, Allyson James
Hot for the Holidays - Lora Leigh,Allyson James,Anya Bast,Angela Knight

24/12 - The best story in the book was definitely Leigh's A Christmas Kiss, possibly because it made the most sense to me as I had already read a few books from the Breeds series. I better understood the world and even recognised a few of the couples from the books I'd previously read. The other story I really liked was Knight's Vampire's Ball. Kat and Ridge were fun together and I would read more from Knight's Mageverse series. Vampire's Ball was a good teaser for the full series.
