Good Story and Characters
Betting the Bad Boy (Behind the Bar) - S... Betting the Bad Boy (Behind the Bar) - Stefanie London

Paul’s older brother was Des the bar/restaurant  where they all worked. Noah was a close friend. Des oversaw the operation and finances. Paul managed the bar and Noah was the head barister who also inducted and trained the new hires. Des was in Hawaii with his wife Grace, Paul was knee deep in getting his mixology school off the ground that left Noah to be boss for the month Des was to be gone. Des was to soon expand his business and dropped hints he wanted Noah to manage it. Paul had a girl he was crazy about - Libby so Noah was the only bachelor left. Paige had just been trying to get a job and had been for awhile. And she was stressed about her future. Paige was trying to get an accounting job. Paige had been staying with her friend Sally. Sally just left her know that in a month she would be moving in with her boyfriend. Paige had already been looking for a job for a month. Paige stopped at Des’s bar/restaurant First for a coffee and fell into an interview as another girl. Then Noah was told the other girl wouldn’t be in Paige bet Noah a job she could make him the best cup of coffee he had ever had. Noah thought Paige looked like sex on a stick in a kind of girl next store way. Paige thought Noah looked hot. On Paige’s first day she brushed shoulders with Noah and felt sparks go through her. She hadn’t felt those kind of tingles since her first kiss. Paige had moved to Melbourne about four months ago before that a country girl born and raised. Paige had a different job in the accounting field but had dated a coworker but when she wouldn’t sleep with him he spread it all over the office she was a floozy and she lost her job. She had learned never mix business with pleasure. Noah had been brought up in the foster care system and had several foster parents and he felt he had let them all down but Paul and Des were his best friends. Noah also had three sisters not blood but sisters nevertheless. Noah had a policy to always set the bar low when it came to commitment. That way he didn’t expect much. As a kid Noah had been kicked out of every foster home he had been in. Being a lone wolf meant security. Noah was always desperate to be the one leaving when it came to relationships as he was never in it for the long term. Paul and Noah had been friends since third grade.

I enjoyed this story. I liked how Noah and Paige tried to control what they felt. I was glad when they came together. I liked the plot and thought this was well written. I thought this dragged a little at different times but didn’t stop me from finishing the story. I liked how close Noah was to Paul and Des. I also loved how Noah loved his sisters. I loved Paige’s determination . This was just a good read I loved the characters and the ins and outs.I recommend.

Book Review for Bad Boy Neighbor by Maddie King

Title: Bad Boy Neighbor
Author: Maddie King
Genre: Erotic Novella
Release Date: April 21, 2017

My neighbor is an arrogant prick.

I’ve lived across the street from him for three years and I’m fed up with his constant partying. He’s the neighborhood bad boy and everyone is afraid to confront him - everyone but me.

When I go to put my foot down one night, I’m in for much more than I thought.

He’s going to show me who the boss of the neighborhood is and he doesn’t care if I like it or not.

This was one hot read from beginning to end.I found the characters to be engaging, funny, hot, had amazing sexual chemistry together.I loved the sexual games they played together as you new that bad boy was going to get his just deserts . He was going to get caught in the web of his own making.Grinning.I have to say that I laughed throughout this whole book. I thought the characters were really funny.

Omg and Wow come to mind ! Right from the get go !Steamy raunchy dirty bedroom scenes that did not just happen just in the bedroom but everywhere and in public making this a exceptional hot erotic read that made your panties wet and have you fanning yourself. LOL

I have to say that my favorite scene with Brooke and Xander is in the office when their having sex and him talking to her through the whole thing. .I laughed so hard Xander is to cocky for his own good.

Xander was the type of character that is a complete a-hole,cocky,rude but omg totally sex on a stick that would tempt any women with a smile and crook of his finger .You new that you would definitely burn in that man's arms as well as his bed. Just my type !

Love the story from cover to cover. It was fast paced, steamy dirty, and humorous with a lot of fun characters.
Recommend read and I will be definitely be picking more books up by this author.

BETTING THE BAD BOY
Behind the Bar #3
Stefanie London
Releasing May 8th, 2017
Entangled Lovestruck

Self-confessed perfectionist Paige Thomas isn’t used to failing. But when a critical error in romantic judgment sends all her big city career dreams crashing down, she scrambles to find a job—any job—to make ends meet.

Noah Reid may as well have “trust issues” tattooed on his forehead. Being raised in the foster system didn’t give him a positive outlook on relationships, but now he’s looking after his best friend’s bar for one month, and he can’t do it alone.

Things get steamy when Noah hires Paige, but she’s determined not to repeat her mistakes and she bets Noah that she can keep her hands to herself while they’re working together. Too bad for her, Noah is an expert at breaking the rules…

She held the blindfold while trying to ignore the flutter of excitement in her stomach. Her fingers toyed with the elasticated band meant to hold the mask in place.

Both partners are going to get a turn at being blindfolded,” Libby said from the front of the room. “Between yourselves, pick who’s going to go first.”

Noah looked down at her, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. He ran a hand along his jaw, catching the reddish-gold bristles of his burgeoning beard. For a moment, Paige was totally captured with the idea of how the bristles might feel on her skin. Would they be smooth or rough? Would she shriek if he brushed them along her inner thigh?

What do you say, new girl?” He cocked his head. “Would you rather do the blindfolding or be blindfolded?”

At that point she would have been happy to go all in— blindfolded, tied up, and held down.

Holy crap, would you listen to yourself? This is a work function, not a goddamn re-creation of

Fifty Shades.

Blindfolded,” she squeaked, thrusting the mask into his hands and spinning so quickly that she almost lost her footing.

You know, I’ve never done this before.” His hand steadied her, the reassuring warmth of his touch seeping into her skin. Her bones felt like jelly.

Blindfolded someone?” she asked, cringing at how shaky her voice sounded.

Ah, no. I meant the taste test.” He chuckled as he slipped the mask over her eyes.

Heat rushed up to Paige’s cheeks. Of course he meant the taste test. What an idiot she was. Just because her brain was earning an R-rating tonight didn’t mean his was, too. She fought back a tremor as he brushed some loose hairs from her neck so he could adjust the strap on the mask.

Everything went dark, and Paige gripped the edge of the table for support.

Warm breath whispered over her ear, and she could tell he’d leaned in a little closer. The scent of coffee and faded cologne tempted her to turn her head toward the source.

I’ve definitely blindfolded someone before, but it wasn’t for a taste test.”Her breath hitched, and she was grateful that she’d had the presence of mind to hold on to something.

Oh.”

He chuckled. “Yeah, that’s what she said.”

Holy. Freaking. Shit.

Betting the Bad Boy (Behind the Bar)Betting the Bad Boy by Stefanie London
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is book #3 in the Behind The Bar series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order.

Paige has no luck getting a job in the field of her own choosing. The problem with her previous employer probably not helping. Now she just needs a job anywhere or she will have to go home.

Noah has no idea she is not the candidate he was going to interview for the position. After the whole mess, he just is glad he has someone competent to the job. Now if he can just stop wanting her for himself....

I found this to be a fun and sexy read. I liked the banter between the characters. I think this series is fun and I hope there are more stories to come.

Sydney (Entangle Me Series #1) by Maggie Way
Sydney: A Bad Boy International Romance (Entangle Me Book 1) - Maggie Way
Description

A jilted girl…
A wicked boy…
A forbidden kiss...
A happily ever after?

Lacey Ryan’s perfect life was well underway, until her fiancé blindsides her with a betrayal so deep it changes everything. Now her life’s gone to hell, and the only way out may be at the hands of the last person she’d have expected to come to her rescue, Tristan Keys—the deliciously sexy player she’s fantasized about her entire life.

Sure he’s arrogant, cocksure, and frustratingly handsome, but he’s also offering exactly what she needs, a fresh start planning destination weddings. First class flights, the chance to see the world, and maybe a little harmless flirtation while she’s at it. Yes, it’s just what she needs.

Only there’s one glaring problem: Tristan happens to be her brother’s best friend. Which means he is completely off-limits. She knows it, he knows it. It’s completely forbidden. Even though she’s always followed all the rules, suddenly Lacey find herself wanting to break them all. Is he worth the risk? Or will he only break her heart—and possibly her bed springs? There’s only one way to find out, and it’s going to involve a lot of suitcase packing, merlot and chocolate.
