I expected some clumsily written, typo-ridden PWP.
What I got was a very well written, very erotic scene. It even had characters and atmosphere.
It is not a novel, not even a novella. More a prologue.
It was free and read more like a sample (hence one star deduction, as this is false labelling to me).
I would have liked to read on, but the price for the novella length bundle is 6,20 Euro. That's around 8 $. Way too expensive. Even for a well written one.
This short story has everything I've been missing in M/M shorts lately. It's got great character and plot development, realistic character with realistic reactions to situations, but it's also got a little mystery, sex, heat and chemistry!

I don't know how to rate this. It was described to me as ""erotic horror"". Seems accurate. If that's your thing, then this tiny bit of kink is totally for you. Not my bag though.
This is a m/m erotic story, definitely non consensual so some people may be triggered by this story. It wasn't enough to hook me into paying for more - but it was decent. Others will probably enjoy it more than I did, as it was, overall, well written, well edited. So long as nc is your kink, you're all good.
Thus two and a half stars: I didn't connect enough to this story to be moved to pay for more of this author's work, but there was nothing really wrong with it, either.
