Giselle Jareau is destined to be a great witch. Julien Beaumont is determined to take a road full of vengeance but is assigned to watch over Giselle.

I really didn’t like this book, which was disappointing as I really liked the description. I thought Julien acted a bit childish for his age. I also didn’t like how Giselle was basically abandoned and neglected when she was destined to be so powerful. I also didn’t like how the narrative hopped from person to person, especially when some of the pieces just didn’t necessarily need to be completely told in the story.

Allie is 22 and lost her mom to cancer. Allie had been living with the man that her mom loved and that loved her as a daughter. But on Gregory’s death Allie was left nothing but a little black box. Gregory’s biological daughter lets Allie continue to live in the house but she had to clean it to stay. Allie met Angelo - a big tattooed biker who claimed to be her fairy godmother. Allie meets Zach. He then goes looking for her and finds Adrienne instead.

This story was a new take on Cinderella from what I could see. But it was a good story anyway .I truly enjoyed Allie’s character and the twists and turns she went thru especially with Angelo. The plot was well known but still liked it. I thoroughly enjoyed this. I recommend.

Robert needs a girlfriend. He sees Crystal at the coffee shop and she tells him that he is being rude to her. He sees something in Crystal’s attitude and decides to offer her a deal to be his girlfriend for a couple of weeks. They come to an agreement but didn’t count on the attraction between them.

I did enjoy this story as well as the plot, but Crystal did seem to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder and Robert seemed to be a bit of a snob. But also they do come from two different places in life so you have to consider that. Otherwise I did like all that Crystal and Robert went through. I recommend.
