Nick Stone going to save a journalist
Crossfire - Andy McNab

Journalists Pete and Dom are doing war stories.

The story moved from an exciting journalists protection duty to a rescue mission.

Now who has Dom and what they want with him?

As the story progress, drug dealers were involved and asked for ransom. So Nice tried to do is right, finding the kidnapped journalist.

The action is okay. Story is a bit on the weird side, like too many sick macho guys in the war zone. Still a good read.

Reading this as the Book task for Door 7 completed.

Reading progress update: I've read 152 out of 560 pages.
Crossfire - Andy McNab

Mostly green cover suited for Door 7 book task.

Nick Stone was on protection duty for two journalists on the war zone, Pete and Dom. Now one is dead and one is missing and what is needed is to find what's happened to them.

Still don't know what happened yet. The setup is a lot of guys shooting at them and they tried to shoot back.

Yes, it is that kind of the book that said right there on the book. Crossfire.

A quick look
Caught in the Crossfire (The Cloven Pack Series: Prequel) - D. Fischer

This prequel is a very fast read and gives a brief insight into Evo's rise to alpha of the Cloven pack. We also get a glimpse into Kelsey and Jeremy's relationship, but the book is really too short to connect with the characters. Having read the first book in the series, I found it interesting to see what brought Evo back to challenge his father, but I was left feeling like something was missing. Overall, I suppose the book does serve its purpose, but, in my opinion, the story needed a bit more development to fully capture a reader's attention.

Spannendes Finale
Crossfire.
