I'm reading Dragonfly in Amber, really enjoying it, and today I booked my hotel room for When Worlds Collide 2015 where I will get to hear (and perhaps get an autograph from) Diana Gabaldon in Calgary, Alberta, this coming August. I haven't been to Canada in ages...but honestly, I rarely go anywhere besides work and the grocery store, so I'm looking forward to it. The kids are coming with me - we need a fun getaway and we haven't taken a trip together since they were little. They're telling me they will read some of the author's works so that they aren't a bunch of ignoramuses, so I'm going to buy a copy of some of the Faith Hunter and Daniel Abraham books, too.
