Nice quick read, vengeance becomes love
Catastrophe with a Count - Emily Murdoch

An entertaining quick read. Anthony was one unlucky man until he met Nerissa. Nerissa was an adventurous soul and bored. Together these two had sparks which lit a fire immediately. Misunderstandings led to a falling out, but love shone through to an HEA.

I received a copy of this story as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

Sweet with a little steam, entertaining read.
Beached with a Baronet (Ravishing Regencies #6) - Emily Murdoch

Another quick read by Emily Murdoch. I enjoyed this instant love between an educated woman and a man with a painful past. I loved how Moses accepted Chloe's intelligence and interest in the natural world. Chloe's scientific mind allowed her to give herself to Moses and to trust him. With a couple hiccups, these two found their way to each other.

Quick read, instant attraction
Voyage with a Viscount (Ravishing Regencies #5) - Emily Murdoch

Another quick read and I enjoyed it. There was an instant attraction between Rowena and James, even though they were not entirely truthful with each other. I had a couple giggles and a couple moments of anticipation. I have been enjoying this series.

I also listened to the audio version and enjoyed the listen. Julia Eve did a good job with the voices.

Love found along the coast.
Shipwrecked with a Suitor - Emily Murdoch

I have been enjoying this series and enjoyed this story as well. It is an easy read and entertaining. This story is about Pierre who has escaped France and is shipwrecked outside of Helena's home. Love blooms quickly, too quick to keep away suspicions as they do not know each other well. Helena's acceptance of her lot in life was admirable. She had her dreams but went about the necessities of life. Pierre learned quickly about the differences between classes, and he had no problem in crossing the lines. At times, I smiled during their dialogue, and at others, I had tears, especially at the end. I look forward to the next story.

Secrets, tides, and some steam made this a good quick read.
Marooned with a Marquis - Emily Murdoch

I enjoyed this story and have enjoyed the series. In this one, Adena wanted to be alone, found herself stranded due to the tide coming in, and determined to get back to the beach by walking through the water. Luke "rescued" her, and their romance began. Adena was honest and open, and accepting of her fate. I wanted to smack Luke to get him to reveal his secret, but other than that, he was open with Adena. Their love was one of first sight, the sparks flew quickly, and the depth of their feelings became obvious. I recommend this story.

This is my unsolicited review.
