New Release Review! Switch It Up (Noble House Kink #2) Sara Brookes
Switch It Up (Noble House Kink) - Sara Brookes

Welcome to Noble House, Where Your Passion is Our Pleasure, and Someone is Always Watching…

Hacker Madeline Zane gets off crossing lines. So when she discovers security flaws in the Noble House website, she thinks nothing of showing up at the door of the hybrid fetish club and demanding an audience with the owner. Especially after watching an intense online scene of the notorious Dom bringing a submissive to her knees.

Kochran Duke is weary of always being in control, but meeting Maddy rekindles his pleasure in what had become strictly business. And instead of making him jealous, seeing her submit to his old friend Ezra has him aching for something he didn’t even know he was searching for.

The kind of heartbreak Ezra’s lived through changes a man. Maddy makes him crave a life he thought he’d put behind him for good. Watching her with Kochran only fuels his desires, rousing the caged beast within.

Fortunately at Noble House, virtually any fantasy can become reality.

Switch It Up is an emotionally riveting tale full of explosive chemistry, super-hot sex scenes that hold readers hostage from beginning to end. The story puts a hold new light on the geeky sounding subject of technology as the author combines it with pleasure and kink so readers can’t help but become completely caught up in the unfolding events bring Madeline, Kochran and Ezra’s fantasies to vivid life.

The characters are strong, compelling and make it easy for reader to get to know them which in turn has readers empathizing with and falling for the characters as they work through their growing relationship that is full of emotional turmoil and sizzling passion. The sex scenes are full of red hot, steamy passages that burn up the pages as well as the virtual world which adds a whole new element and kink to the story and spices things up even more.

This is the first book that I have read in the Noble House Kink series and I found that the Sara Brookes did a great job of bringing the story and the characters to brilliant life which made it easy for me to become immersed in her sexy world that has its own unique elements that makes it different pleasure club stories that I have read. I will be reading that first book asap and waiting impatiently for the third.

Switch It Up is the 2nd book in the Noble House Kink series.

The 3rd book In The Rough is set to be released August 20, 2018.

Review: Playing House by Amy Andrews
Playing House (Sydney Smoke Rugby Series Book 5) - Amy Andrews

4.25 stars - Reviewed for Wit and Sin

A shy, quirky heroine who prefers books to parties. A sexy-as-hell hero with a sweet side. A scorching one night stand that becomes so much more. Put those three ingredients together and you’ve got a recipe for a highly entertaining romance. And when you add in Amy Andrews’s fast-paced style and signature humor then it’s clear to see why I couldn’t resist Playing House.

Eleanor is such a fun heroine. She grew up on a steady diet of Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer and is in love with the fashion, manners, and romantic ideals of the nineteenth century. She’s also turned her love of Victorian fashion into a profitable business, which I found to be a delight to read about. Eleanor feels like the ugly duckling of her family, but she’s so much more than the kooky wallflower she sees herself as. Bodie is immediately captivated by Eleanor and I loved that he wasn’t just taken with her looks, but showed interest in what she was passionate about. Bodie grew up with a shark of a father and between that and his cheating ex-fiancée, he’s wary of falling for someone who will turn out to simply want him for his trust fund or his status a rugby star. Eleanor is a breath of fresh air to him in many ways and it’s clear from the outset that one night with her will never be enough. I could melt with how sweet Bodie could be. He may have wealth, privilege, and good looks, but he has worked hard to become successful and he’s got a heart of gold. I was rooting for him and Eleanor to become more than simply lovers because they were such likeable characters.

Eleanor and Bodie’s story is filled with erotic moments, and it’d be remiss of me not to at least mention how hot Playing House is. But what stood out to me were the quieter moments and if I had one (minor) niggle it’d be I wish there were more of them. Bodie and Eleanor are very different, but they complement one another perfectly. I liked watching them learn about each other. And when the two of them are handed a major surprise, I really liked that they handled life’s curveball fairly well. Their road to happily ever after isn’t smooth sailing. Insecurities, pain, and heartbreak made the story feel more real and may have even had me sniffling at one point. But I knew Ms. Andrews wouldn’t let readers down and the ending of Playing House left me with a smile on my face.

New Release Review! Wolf Tales 12: Exposed (Wolf Tales #12) Kate Douglas
Wolf Tales 12: Exposed - Kate Douglas

The final thrilling installment in the groundbreaking Wolf Tales series that captivated the world of erotic romance!

Even as their numbers have grown and they’ve spread out across the country, the Chanku have remained deeply connected by their mutual need for erotic pleasure and their unique shapeshifting abilities. Content to pursue their sensual way of life in relative anonymity, they’re stunned when their extraordinary nature is unavoidably revealed to the world at large—and fearful of the dangers they face from those who fear their differentness.

Realizing that the distance between them makes them vulnerable, they answer the silent call for all Chanku to come together at their pack alpha’s home in Montana. And in that setting, as they struggle to understand their new place in the world and defend themselves against suspicious and violent adversaries, they will discover a shocking revelation about their origins and their legacy.

As the pack adapts to these new realities and reclaims their primal past, they will embark on a journey that will take them into uncharted territory and open up a spectacular, unimagined future . . .

What an electrifying end to the Wolf Tales series! Kate Douglas ended the series with one heck of a sendoff, there was lots of surprising twists with lots of adrenaline pumping anticipation and suspense building throughout the story which keeps readers on the edge while the fascinating characters continue to draw readers in.

There was lots of hot and super-hot sex as usual with the sexy Chanku as well as all kinds of emotional turmoil and sweet romance that keeps readers connected to their world. The story was wonderful in that the whole of the Chanku world was involved in the story which, to me, really keeps up the feeling that I have really gotten to know these characters and their world as the series progressed.

The Chanku face some tough circumstances and life-changing events that add lots of excitement to the story as well as making it unpredictable and ensures that readers can’t put the book down because they just have to know every last detail.

I know I couldn’t put the book down once I started reading it and while I hate that the series is ending, I also think that it’s an appropriate time and Kate Douglas did a stupendous job of bringing this era to a close. Of course, I already know that this isn’t the end of the Chanku as Kate Douglas already has several books out in her Spirit Wild series which is the second generation of her fascinating world.

Wolf Tales 12: Exposed is the final book in the Wolf Tales series.

From the Author: The new edition of Wolf Tales 12 is the same story as the original--new cover, typos (hopefully) all caught, and a much lower price.
But the members of the pack are just as hot as they've ever been!

"A Ring For Christmas" by Adriana Kraft

My Thoughts....

Questions??....
Will Meghan be able to help her friend Lisa while she is in Las Vegas with a big secret that hadn't told to her boyfriend two years? What will happen after Bryce finds out about this secret? How will he respond? What will happen when the three [Meghan, Bryce & Lisa] meet up? Will it be one sweet ride? I don't want to spoil it and tell all so you will have to pick up "A Ring for Christmas" by this author to get all of these questions answered. So, if you are into these kinds of exotic reads you will love this novella.

Splatterpunk Fighting Back
Splatterpunk Fighting Back - Dave Benton,Jack Bantry,Tim Curran,Rich Hawkins,Duncan Ralston,Glenn Rolfe,Bracken MacLeod,Kristopher Rufty,Adam Millard,John Boden,Matt Shaw,W.D. Gagliani,George Daniel,Elizabeth Power

For me, this anthology was nearly perfect. Almost every single story hit home with me, and the fact that the purchase of this anthology benefits the fight against cancer makes it that much sweeter.

Without further ado-these are the stories that affected me most, in the order in which they knocked off my socks:

MOLLY by Glenn Rolfe. I have read a number of Glenn's works now and it's my opinion that he's an author to watch. With this story, he has arrived! A killer doll, a hotel, sexy women and weak men-add them all together and what have you got? Molly. 5*

LIMB MEMORY by Tim Curran. It sucks to lose an arm. Turns out that it also sucks when the arm comes back! 5*

THE GOING RATE by John Boden. A super short, shocking story! LOVED. IT. 5*

EXTINCTION THERAPY by Bracken MacLeod. Beautifully written with one of those punch-in-the-gut endings that I adore. 5*

THEY SWIM BY NIGHT by Adam Millard. Who doesn't love a good story about sirens? (Not like on police cars, but like in ancient mythology.) You have to ignore those singing ladies, or they'll get you every time. 4*

THE PASSION OF THE ROBERTSONS by Duncan Ralston. This was gross, funny and messed up all at once. 4*

FEAST OF CONSEQUENCES by W.D. Gagliani and Dave Benton. This story was a constant stream of Oh No! Followed by YES! I 'll let you guess upon which of those the story ended. 4*

DARLA'S PROBLEM by Kristofer Rufty. This being my first Rufty story, I wonder why I've waited so long to check him out. When Darla comes to you with a problem-take her seriously.

SPLATTERPUNK FIGHTING BACK was an anthology that totally worked for me, and I'm guessing even though it's only January, this will be included in my best anthologies of the year.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
