An Affair In Winter is an awesome historical romance by Jess Michaels.  Ms. Michaels has given readers a well-written book.  The characters are outstanding.  Rosalinde married to get away from her abusive grandfather only to have to return when her husband dies.  He hates her and makes her travel with servants to her sister's wedding.  Gray meets Rosalinde at a tavern where they are both taking shelter from a snowstorm.  Gray and Rosalinde's story is loaded with drama, humor, smokin' hot sex, and a little action and suspense.  I enjoyed reading An Affair In Winter and look forward to my next book by Jess Michaels.  An Affair in Winter is book 1 of the Seasons Series but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
