Amazing Grace
AmazingGrace - Lena Hart

Gracie and her parents found freedom through the Underground Railroad when she was 4. Now 18 she is heading west to get married to support her family. Logan, an ex-confederate soldier is also heading west.
This short story tackles serious subject matter. I wasn't sure how an ex confederate soldier (and former slave owner) would work as a hero. There is a discussion (as much as you can have in a novella) and this is addressed. I really liked Gracie, she stood up for herself. Would like like more at the end, it felt rushed.

Something Borrowed
Something Borrowed - Lena Hart Every life is full of surprises. Some good, others not so much. It's how we handle the ups and downs that gives us the strength to become who we are meant to be. Truth and Jackson are a complicated pair. From first meeting they got under each other's skin. He was the tough guy with the seductive eyes and the frustrating demeanor. She was a beauty finding her wings in a world, that was not always kind. Attraction was instant, but forbidden. Truth was a newlywed and Jackson's sister - in - law. When fate hands her a raw deal and tragedy comes knocking at her door, Truth must find the courage to make her own way in the world. Through the grief and uncertainty, she finds herself facing her past, following her heart and falling in love again. One brother captured her heart, will the other brother help her piece it back to together. Something Borrowed begins with a love triangle that is a heartbreak waiting to happen and ends up being a tale of hope for anyone who has loved, loss and found the courage to try again.

Great addition to a great series
Something Borrowed (Brides of Cedar Bend... Something Borrowed (Brides of Cedar Bend Book 3) - Lena Hart

This was a good quick read, Truth is a great character that just wants to help her brother in law out. Jackson is trying to stay away from Truth because he wants to honor his brother. I loved this story because you can’t but root for these two and of course little monster or daisy. To see Truth stand up for Jackson when he is hurt, when others laugh at him or when he is in trouble and daisy is taken away is amazing. This was a great story and Lena hart did a great job on this story and this series is great.

Something New (Brides of Cedar Bend) by Lena Hart
Something New (Brides of Cedar Bend Book 2) - Lena Hart

The fantasy becomes a reality when two total opposites find the perfect match in each other.  With Something New, Ms. Hart kept the childhood fairy tale ideals but gave them an updated steamy heart to heart.  This time around the hero and heroine write their own story. It's hard to decide who was more in need of rescuing.  The girl with the broken engagement or the guy with a heart full of dreams.  Either way, Savvy and Damian are heartstoppingly fabulous together.

Great new series and great read
Something New (Brides of Cedar Bend) (Vo... Something New (Brides of Cedar Bend) (Volume 2) - Lena Hart

This was a wonderful read and not my first by Lena Hart, but my first in this series. Savannah (Savvy) Williams and Damian Carson (Junior) met a few years back but this time Savvy needed Damian's help when her car broke down on her way to stay with her cousin and his best friend before their wedding. The sparks that are between these two but there is also so much going on outside of them with Damian taking care of his father and his failing health, Savvy's ex and does she still have feelings.
This story is so great I need to go back and. Read the first story in this series and then read the next in the series I want to know what happens next. Lena Hart has me hooked.
