Saved by the Shell! (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) - Golden Books
For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-Cycle

Entertaining book for Ninja Turtle fans. This book basically goes through a brief backstory and how they met April.

The illustrations are entertaining with a few fights scenes (and an epic explosion!).

The story is pretty simple, but entertaining.

I picked this book up from the library to look at with a kid I work with. He liked the pictures of the Ninja Turtles, especially when they were fighting.

Overall, a good read.

The Little Grumpy Cat that Wouldn't (Grumpy Cat) (Little Golden Book) - Golden Books,Steph Laberis

A very cute and funny book for fans of Grumpy Cat.

Not a very well-developed story, but it is entertaining and stays true to the Grumpy Cat persona. The illustrations were adorable. I loved the contrast of Grumpy Cat with all of the other happy animals.

A fun little book for those who like sassy cats.

Critter books Love this book
Just Me & My Little Sister (Look-Look) - Golden Books

Critter books were my favorite when growing up. As a future educator I would use this books to teach about life events, in my first, second, and third grade class.

Perfect for Easter
Here Comes Peter Cottontail Little Golden Book (Peter Cottontail) - Golden Books

K got this in his Easter basket today and it was the perfect book to read on Easter. Peter Cottontail is in the running to become Chief Easter Bunny but Irontail is determined to not have him win. When Irontail cheats it is up to Pete to make it up to the other rabbits in April Valley. We follow Peter as he goes through different holidays trying to get rid of all this eggs to win the contest. The pictures are very bright and go wonderful with the story. I am so glad that we own this book now so we can read it every Easter.
