The Book Thief is one of my favorite stories. I just saw the trailer for the film version that's coming out soon, and while I think it will be great, that trailer is a complete disaster. It's almost as bad as most book trailers. It isn't engaging, doesn't tease the story at all, leaves out Death entirely, and has cheesy narration pop up in the last third. Come on! You can do better!
Let's just reread the book and cry for hours. Liesel! Papa! Rudy!
I can't wait for this one to come out. Hopefully, they didn't make many changes and stayed true to the book.
