"Lullaby Road" by James Anderson

My Thoughts...

Now, this was quite a interesting read about Ben Jones who runs a tractor trailer delivery service [truck driver] that traveled on Highway 117 that was a desolate Utah desert making deliveries to people in isolated areas. Ben was known to deliver packages to 'desert rats, hardscrabble ranchers and other assorted exiles who chose to live off 117." Now, this route that Ben took I found it interesting to know that Fed Ex and UPS would not drive on this snow-blinding road.

What Ben finds while on his journeys will definitely keep your interest as it seems he kept getting himself involved in bad situations like finding a note that leads him to take charge of a small child [mute] and a large protective dog and also ending up when a friend and neighbor who leaves their young [bawling] infant with him so she could go to work. Now, I really found this rather strange when Ben piles them all in his truck and takes off to work going his normal route however, he ends up in a snow storm.

This story will continue on as this author gives the readers one intriguing and entertaining story ...from hit & run, bad weather [snow drifts], interactions with gun toting customers, abandoned child, child smuggling ring, preacher who carries a cross along the highway, accidents, three witches, Mexican women with food truck, and even some murders that happen along route 117. As every truck stop was made this author gives us a complete unfolded story with there being a lots going on with there being just a small group of people that are involved.To fully understand this entire story you will have to pick up "Lullaby Road" to see just how this author brings it out to the reader.

Be ready for a story will some laughable, scary and sad twist and turn parts of the read that will definitely keep you turning the pages to see what was coming next in this good read where in the end you will also find it 'engrossing, heartwarming and heartbreaking.'

My Thoughts....

OK,  I will say this story continues on from the last series ... 'Fit' moving on into the next series 'Run.' We see that the police are kept busy with Mayven and Major and let's not leave out Mr. Franklin. How this will come out had me shaking my head and say what?  Then someone is down! Dr. Chloe Daniels really lets her feeling out at this point definitely wanting to know who the two ladies are that are visiting Michael. With all that is upon Dr. Daniels I liked how she was still their with her expertise in helping with this crime spree that has reached for and near.  Then as the story continues do we have someone taking a special interest in Anna Black?  I definitely had a wired feeling about that person interest! Then we have another killing ... what is up with another characters of interest Logan and Beth Ann?  As more people have been found killed the story continues on to Grace [Baby Doll Killer] and I can't believe what she is still at wanting and planning to do to her help. However, I think this time Grace has she met her match?  This will be quite a sad read as love ones are being identified however, there is still much work for the police to be done as they are dealing with all of the killings that have gone on.  What happens as Dr. Brookes calls a meeting with the police chief, Dr. Daniels and Addison with information?  However it looks like someone else has gotten and tipped their hand in this matter.  I will stop here and just say you will have to pick up this read to see who that person is and how closely they have worked with this doctor.  This story will have so many twist and turns that the reader will have to keep up.  It will be really something seeing how this author will put all this series all together in the sixth installment in the Chloe Daniels Mysteries.  Now guess who is going to Florida!!!!! I will say this installment had me a little at a loss because there will so much going on.  In the end will we finally see justice as it deals with  Anna Black, Grace Pembroke Wetherby, Major and Mayven and a few other characters as we get to the end of this long ride?  Well, all I can say is that we will have to pick up this last series 'War' and hopefully  all of our questions will be answered to these well written installments to see how justice will prevail.

"Mischief's Mayhem" by Deidra D. S. Green

My Thoughts....

Well as one can see these mysteries .... continue....with Anna Black still in prison ...however will she be able to  go to trial after what has gone on with her?  Continuing on what will we find with Grace Pembroke Wetherby[Baby Doll Killer] still doing her thing time around, however, it looks like she has been caught by none other than ?  Now, in this read we get some new characters...Major and Mayven who are causing havoc across the state lines with their killings. Who are these two and why are they on this killing spree?  Now, I don't want to leave out how hard Dr. Daniels and Detective Phillips are still trying to piece these murders all together, however, it seems like they maybe getting some more help with there cases.  All in all to know what all has gone on in this series  you will have to pick up not only "Mischief's Mayhem" but the other two installments in The Chloe Daniels Mysteries to fully understand what has gone on with each of these very captivating main characters[Anna Black, Grace Pembroke Wetherby and Major & Mayven].  So, I starting my next read of this series....FIT: The 4th installment in the Chloe Daniels Mysteries to get some more of this mystery read.
