Dishonorable
Dishonorable (The Amado Brothers #1) - Natasha Knight

'Dishonorable ' by Natasha Knight is the story of Raphael and Sofia. Please be warned this is a Dark Romance so if you are looking for Hearts and Flowers this isn't your book. Although I love my Hearts and Flowers books... I always love a Dark Romance. I love how the Male is strong but broken who seems to know only hurt and tries to keep that attitude up when he finds the women who he doesn't understand. A women who is strong yet gentle...who has the man turn around his way of thinking and acting.
This book was that for me. Raphael is a broken man who has put up with his father's abuse of him and his mother. So much so that he was put in jail for six years for killing his father in self defense. Now Raphael has one thing in mind and that is revenge of the people that hurt this family. One of those people being Sofia's Grandfather . Sofia is a sweet girl just graduating from school and learns that her Grandfather has set in motion for her to marry Raphael. Sofia has never met Raphael other than one time when she came home from school break to see him arguing with her Grandfather. Now she is to be married to Raphael to settle a debt. Sofia has her struggles too after her parents died which left her Grandfather in charge of their lives.
Sofia tries to stay strong and go forward with this marriage but can she grow to understand the hurt behind Raphael and his actions? Will Raphael see something more than revenge in Sofia?
I must say I loved Raphael and Sofia's brother and sister and hope they get together. I am hoping that will be the next book...Fingers Crossed!

Captive, Mine - Natasha Knight,Trent Evans

Emmanuel J Cross was a drug dealer to the wealthy and the father of Lily. Emmanuel was half of the two men force that supplied the entire East coast with their drug of choice. Emmanuel made a deal with the the Feds to testify against Randall his business partner. Emmanuel was to enter into the witness protection program Lily was to leave NYC and she only had fifteen minutes to pack one suitcase. If she didn’t go Randall would come after her to get her father Emmanuel to stop all deals and take the prison time but to keep his mouth shut. Then a man came into Lily’s room, he was Lake Freeman and explained her father had hired him to be lily’s body guard until they got Lily settled and safe. Velveteen Rabbit had been Lily’s favorite book as a kid and was now her safe code and Lake brought the code up to her to let her know her father did hire him. Lily’s mother had run off before Lily was a year off so Lily and her dad were close even with his profession choice. No one had ever scared Lily like Lake freeman. Lake had zero compassion and treated Lily like she was the criminal. Then there was the trade off to U S Marshall De Salvo Witsee. But he was a fake as now the cartel would have Lily. There was a time when Lake would have never thought of doing a job like this but that time was gone. One last job and he was free. One last mission and he was done with what he had become. Lake escapes with LILY as he wants her for himself. They hole up in a cabin in the woods to hide from the drug cartel who want to hold Lily as a captive. Lake is a dominant man trying to teach Lily to be a sub. But Lily is not used to being told what to do.

I liked this story but had a lot  mixed feelings about it. Lake didn’t turn Lily over to the cartel but he kept her captive for herself. To try to force someone to be submissive would be near to impossible and if you broke their spirit isn’t that what attracted Lake in the first place ?  story was just confusing to me. There really wasn’t a lot of danger or suspense or so it seemed to me and there should have been more as far as i am concerned. I did like that the BDSM relationship was thrown around a lot like most stories. I liked that it was not hard to figure out what the relationship was. But I definitely didn’t like the forced sex part. I did not enjoy that. So all and all was a okay read that I did finish so it did hold my interest enough for that. I liked Lily’s fiestyness even when it cost her. Also a BDSM relationship is based on trust especially as far as the sub goes and Lily was afraid of Lake and didn’t trust him so… But I did like a lot of the ins and outs of this story.

Captive, Mine
Captive, Mine - Natasha Knight,Trent Evans Trent Evans and Natasha Knight as a mash up is reader's fantasy come true. Both authors write deliciously depraved kinky stories. In Captive, Mine, the kink is good; the characters are bad. Bad in not a good way. Lily Cross is a drug lord's daughter. She is used as collateral to make sure her father will be used against Terrence Randall in court. Lake Freeman is the man who is hired to protect Lily from being used against her father.

The kink in this story is good. Restraining and especially gagging of Lily is great. The dub-con and disciplining of Lily is also great. Lake as an aggressor forcing Lily to behave is all good. So why did this story just rate okay for me? Because Lily is a sniveling annoying twit. She keeps making the wrong choice over and over and rather than take her punishment, she whines and promises she won't do it again. Insert eye rolling. Lily is so annoying I kept wishing she would be strangled to death or killed. The erotic scenes were sabotaged by her incessant shallow musings. Everything about Lily grates on my nerves which is why I didn't enjoy this book as much. If I can't like the main character, I have a hard time enjoying it. What is weird is how she suddenly becomes so competent at the end of the book. Not believable at all.

Lake as a tormented kidnapper just didn't make sense to me. I must have missed why this was such a big deal for him. His back history with his wife is fine, but it didn't pull all together for me to care. There was little chemistry between Lake and Lily. The authors write it as if they are so enthralled with each other, but I didn't feel it. The plot felt muddled and honestly, I really just wanted to read about the erotic dub-con scenes between Lily and Lake. So when Lily kills my arousal with her inane behaviour, it disappointments me. I wanted to jump in and beat some sense into Lily.

This is a darker theme than some of the other books by these two authors. I do wish they would go darker without the guilty angst. Because their descriptions are vivid and the story pace is good. Their dub con scenes can be so erotic too. For those who enjoy a bratty female get taken to task, this is the book for you.

Taming Naia
Taming Naia - Natasha Knight Naia White is looking for forgiveness for a wrongdoing that ended her Professor’s career. Naia seems to be starting over after a divorce but her battiness still comes through. She also wants to address her past attraction so she can move on in her life. Naia does not seem as brave as she pretends to be.

Liam Roark is the owner of Club Exhale, a BDSM club. Liam was a professor until an unfounded acquisition ended his career, by Naia. Liam is several years older than Naia. He is still angry over what she did. However, it’s apparent that he is attracted to her as much as she is to him.

The connection between Liam and Naia is intense. It’s easy to see the attraction and fireworks between them. Liam comes on a bit strong to scare her away from him but when she returns he pursues the attraction. I enjoyed seeing how both of them addressed not only the past between them but also the growing attraction. The sex scenes were scorching.

Taming Naia is the first book in the Templar Brothers Trilogy by Natasha Knight. This book is a prequel to Taming Emma, and Taming Megan by Natasha Knight. This book is very well written. The overall plot was very believable. The main and secondary characters were fascinating and realistic. The ending of the story was fairly predictable but fascinating to see how these two main characters got there. Overall, this was a great book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Taming Megan
Taming Megan - Natasha Knight Megan Roark is head over heels in love with her husband but her low self-esteem makes her think she can never compare to the others around her. Megan also had a rough childhood, which compounds the issue. Megan has one friend that has been with her through everything but the more Megan grows the more she seems to hold Megan back. Megan acts like a rebellious teenage at times.

Jack Roark is a hot, sexy kindhearted man. He loves his wife but is very traditional. They have agreed to domestic discipline in the home to help curb Megan’s issues. While Jack is an alpha male and in charge he does not comes across as an overbearing jerk nor does he punish Megan for every little thing or even look for reasons to punish her.

The chemistry between Jack and Megan is blistering hot. In everything both Jack and Megan do, it’s easy to tell they love each other very much. Megan tries hard to be the woman Jack knows she can be. In fact, she seems to crave the discipline he dishes out to help her overcome her mistakes. The sex scenes were scorching hot.

Taming Megan by Natasha Knight is the sequel to Taming Emma. This book can be read and enjoyed without reading the prior book. I found this book well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. I have read several books by Ms. Knight and this book did not disappoint. I was drawn into the story to the point I read it in one sitting. This was a wonderful book.
