Clines: Kills over a dozen human characters,

I checked my various Overdrive sources, hoping that one of them would have one of the other audiobooks set in this universe that I haven't listened to before. Sadly, I'm not that lucky. Actually, it looks like the next two works might be Audible audiobooks, in which case I don't think it's possible for libraries to buy them for Overdrive.

I finished Binary Witness and needed something new to listen to while working. I have several audiobooks I haven't listened to in my Audible Library, plus access to audiobooks in three different library Overdrive collections, and yet here I am, relistening to this. I just don't want to have to concentrate on a new-to-me story, and Ray Porter's narration is nice. I plan to fast forward through the "romance" part, though, because Clines doesn't do romance or sex scenes well. Thankfully that part is brief.

More fun than most time-travel stories, mostly because the story and goals are kept light and fun and it doesn't take itself too seriously. There were a few plot twists and the usual time paradox issues thrown in at the end, but I didn't pay much attention to those because I was more interested in the characters and outcomes than the mechanics of time travel or the protagonist/antagonist setup. 

I will say I loved the notion of The Faceless Men, and The Searchers, though. 

Audiobook via Audible, with Ray Porter's usual outstanding narration. 

Still no idea where this is going. None of this makes much sense. But it's a fun ride!

I really hate when I don't make a note to myself why I bought a particular book. But in this case, I think it's because it's read by Ray Porter. And it was probably one of those Audible sales.
