Den of Sorrows (The Grey Wolves #9) by Quinn Loftis
Den of Sorrows, Book 9 (The Grey Wolves Series) - Quinn Loftis,KKeeton Designs

Quinn Loftis created another spectacular book in the Grey Wolves Series, Den of Sorrows.  The Romanian and Serbian wolves are helping the high Fae in a fight against the vampires, while trying to keep their existence a secret.  This contemporary PNR is suitable for young adults to adult audiences.

I like the synopsis at the beginning of the book.  I read a lot so sometimes it takes me a while to remember what happed in the last book or in this case I realized I skipped a couple of books in the series. I am going to want to backtrack and read those.

I have enjoyed watching Jacque, Jen, and Sally grow-up since the first book.  I have to laugh, because every time Jen’s name comes up since book three, Just One Drop, I still hear Katy Perry’s E.T. in my mind. That girl crakes me up.  Heck all three of them do.  I also appreciate their conversations with their mates; they make for some good entertainment.  Quinn Loftis does a phenomenal job in her character development.  I can typically tell who is speaking before their name is even mentioned.   The characters have grown tremendously, and you feel like you know them.

The plot is intense and thrilling.  The vampires are evil adversaries who make the story spellbinding.  It is horrifying how they are preying on children.  I love the introduction of Bethany.  I have a feeling she is going to fit in perfectly with the girls.  There were many unexpected twists.  Den of Sorrows was convincing and well described.  I appreciate how each chapter begins with a quote from one of the characters (especially Jen’s).  The story had my emotions all over the board.  The ending had me on the edge of my seat and anxiously awaiting the next book.

Prince of Wolves
Prince of Wolves - Quinn Loftis I enjoyed this book. Parts of this book seemed to drag, but the pros outweighed the cons in my opinion. I enjoyed the humor of all the girls in this book. I will continue on with this series.

Prince of Wolves
Prince of Wolves - Quinn Loftis

Title: Prince of Wolves

Series: The Grey Wolves #1

Author: Quinn Loftis

Format: Kindle Cloud Reader

Rating: .75 stars

Recommend to?: NO ONE!!!!

Goodread's Bio: Jacque Pierce was just an ordinary 17-year-old girl getting ready to start her senior year in high school in Coldspring, Texas. When a mysterious foreign exchange student from Romania moves in across the street, Jacque and her two best friends, Sally and Jen, don't realize the last two weeks of their summer are going to get a lot more interesting.

From the moment Jacque sets eyes on Fane she feels an instant connection, a pull like a moth to a flame. Little does she know that the flame she is drawn to is actually a Canis lupis, werewolf, and she just happens to be his mate; the other half of his soul.

My Review: I'll try to be as nice as i can about this book, but seeing as how i feel the need to jump ahead in my review backlog to do this book should scream red flags

RED FLAG #1: It comes off as written by maybe a 14yr old girl who says ya and ya'll a lot!!!

RED FLAG #2: Main character starts hearing voices and isn't even concerned!

RED FLAG #3: Main character then tells 2 best friends about voice, still no one is concerned!!!

RED FLAG #4: Foreign exchange student moves in across street and main character then realizes it's him talking to her in her mind and talks back, STILL NO ONE SEEMS CONCERNED!!!

RED FLAG #5: Foreign exchange student tells main character he's a werewolf and she's his mate, NO CONCERN, JUST ACCEPTANCE!!

RED FLAG #6: Foreign exchange student tells host family he's a werewolf, JUST ACCEPTANCE!!!!!

WTH!!!! and that's all in the first like half of the book. There's only one main event in this book and that's all they talked about for 30% of the book. Then said even happens near the 90% mark, it's not very eventful at all. Then they live happily ever after.

I really can't see how this series can be 8 books, nor do i understand how most of the books rating are over 4 stars! i just don't understand.

Overall, unless you're a 12 yr old Texas girl who wants to read someone else's diary, stay away!

Prince of Wolves: Book 1, Grey Wolves Series
Prince of Wolves - Quinn Loftis Jaque has a connection with new student Fane. They have a bond that happens rarely and it has left her more than a little freaked out. Starting the book Jaque’s friends seemed a little weird but I eventually got use to it and I found them to be endearing and humorously quirky. In fact the way the friends are there for Jaque is probably the best part of the book, that and Fane and Jaque’s special abilities with each other. While the are some flaws and unbelievable moments in the beginning but stick with it the story is precious and funny.
