Intercepted by Love - Part 4 (The Quarterback's Heart) by Rachelle Ayala
Intercepted by Love: Part Four (The Quarterback's Heart Book 4) - Rachelle Ayala

Is the payoff really worth the aggravation?  This couple has trust issues, emotional issues, manipulative acquaintances, unearthed secrets, family responsibilities and career obligations standing in the way of their happiness.  When does the drama become enough? I am not a fan of the serial format but I have to admit, Ms. Ayala is good at being unpredictable.  Cade and Andie are every cautionary tale that needs to be addressed, but there's something to be said for persistence.

Summer Love Puppy (Have A Hart) by Rachelle Ayala
Summer Love Puppy (Have A Hart, #5) - Rachelle Ayala

There is no perfect story, only gifted writers.  Ms. Ayala is an expert at forging a connection between readers and her cast of eclectically irresistible characters.  Whether human or animal, they all bring something to the table.  Life lessons, emotional moments or just a figurative hug to brighten up someone's day, it's stories like Summer Love Puppy that have kept me in love with reading for years.  Linx and Grady have traveled a hard road in order to find a second chance.  Will there be forgiveness and understanding at the end of the trek?  The beginning of something special is just waiting to be explored.

Christmas Stray by Rachelle Ayala
Christmas Stray - Rachelle Ayala

Christmas Stray had me catching my breath while losing my heart. Juliette and Gabe's story is as profound as it is heartbreaking.  What once was strong, has been fractured by grief and hopelessness.  Ms. Ayala tackles the subject of lost faith and broken hearts, while inspiring readers with her courageous characters.  No parent should have to endure what this couple did.  However, an adorable puppy and an equally lost little boy give this broken couple a chance at healing and moving forward.  KLEENEX IS A MUST!!

A Pet for Christmas (For Christmas #2) by Rachelle Ayala
A Pet for Christmas (Sweet Holiday Romance) (A Veteran's Christmas Book 2) - Rachelle Ayala

The holidays should be a time of family togetherness and joy.  For Kelly and Tyler, it's anything but.  A Pet for Christmas takes up where A Father for Christmas ended.  Kelly, Bree and Tyler are on the verge of becoming a family, until circumstances throw a monkey wrench in their plans.  It will take a Christmas miracle, a leap of faith and love's unending strength to guide this almost family to their happily ever after.  Ms. Ayala is an emotional writer.  She seeks out the heart and speaks directly to the vulnerability that makes us human.  Getting to read her wise words is always a pleasureable experience, but what I enjoy most is when the characters come alive.  Elizabeth Klett adds to that realism with animated vocal range.  Getting to experience the two together is a treasure not to be missed.

Intercepted by Love: Part Three: A Football Romance (The Quarterback's Heart) by Rachelle Ayala
Intercepted by Love: Part Three (The Quarterback's Heart Book 3) - Rachelle Ayala

In a world full of opportunists, Cade and Andie are struggling to find their footing.   Between phantom divorces, scheming ex husbands and scandalous one night stands, their new relationship is really taking a beating.  Will they survive the heat?  Ms. Ayala writes true to life stories sprinkled in humor, yet grounded by heart.  Intercepted by Love Book 3 is no exception.  Chris Abell uses her beautifully written words to deliver a bit of humor, a lot of heart and a little hope to all who listen.
