When Greece is mentioned the things that come to mind are the islands with resorts, archaeological sites, historical monuments, and nature. So it is natural to assume that buying homes for sale in Greece will be connected to Holidays. But it is much more than that.


Around the time of Olympics in 2004, a lot of development work was done in Athens and surrounding region. Significant investment was made by international investors and they were benefitted by it. But due to the economic crisis faced by the country the international investors opted to put up their property for sale in Athens Greece. The real estate business saw a big slump.


Though the country has been able to withstand the economic crisis, the road to recovery will take time. Due to these factors, the prices of properties is quite low at present and it is a great opportunity to invest in properties here.

The hardcover is also almost $10 cheaper than list price, although that may be normal for Amazon. No clue.


This is one of the many books that I read and just never got around to reviewing. I'd probably have given it either 3.5 or 4 stars. 2017 was a bad year for me, reading and reviewing-wise. I didn't meet my reading goal, I was terrible about keeping track of what I'd purchased, and there were a lot of things I didn't review or even necessarily record.


At any rate, based on what I remember: Provenance didn't work as well for me as the Imperial Radch trilogy, but I think it'd be an easier book for most people to get into than Ancillary Justice. It's an emotionally lighter story, for one thing. There's a bit of a murder mystery element, plus a few heist elements - just be warned that, like Leckie's other books, it's pretty leisurely paced. It's set in the same world as the Imperial Radch books and refers to events from the third book, but you don't need to have read the Imperial Radch books to get into it. Those who have read those books will likely enjoy the glimpse the book gives of the Geck, an alien species mentioned in the trilogy. Oh, and it has cool spider-like robots and an amusingly useless diplomat.
