I leave more and more of my heart behind with each Samantha Holt story I read. Married to the Lord is no exception. Miles and Augusta blend bittersweet sentiment with heartwarming romance. Augusta is the wallflower bride in waiting wishing for something more. Miles tends to hide in the shadows, yearning for a heart wish that was never meant to be. Caught up in a love triangle neither ever saw coming, will they risk it all to follow their hearts or have the courage to walk away?

I took a gamble on less than perfect and it ran away with my heart. Emma and the Earl is an adventure in romance. Holt continues to captivate with unique characters, witty dialogue and the sweetest romances. Emma and her Earl are proof that the most precious treasure is what resides within.

I love Samantha Holt. She gives suspense a sense of humor by giving heartache a heart. Chloe and Waverly have a situation on their hands. How do they end a feud between the families they both love? Could LOVE have been the answer all along? Married to the Rake is an uphill battle that proves to be worth the climb.

Loves comes a little late, but arrives right on time for the dashing playboy and his daring spinster. Holt never ceases to charm hearts while tackling serious subjects and creating inspiring heroines. Prudence is a tough cookie. Her brain makes her unique, but her heart is all too human. When a Lord takes notice of her smarts is when this lonely duckling blossoms into the sweetest of swans. Seth and Prudence are a dazzling blend of intriguing romance and heartwarming storytelling. A perfect example of why I love historical romance. 

Not Another Soldier is a military romance by Samantha Holt.  Ms. Holt has provided readers with a well-written book.  I love the characters in this book, especially Nick.  Sienna just burried her husband but couldn't grieve for him since she had plans to leave him.  Nick is her late husband's best friend, but her best friend too.  Nick and Sienna's story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense.  I enjoyed every page of this book and look forward to my next book by Samantha Holt.  Not Another Soldier is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
