Kelsie is the maid of honor at her sister's wedding and she desperately doesn't want to go alone (the best man is her ex and the groom's brother). Sawyer is an upstairs neighbor with an revolving door of women. They come to an agreement that he will help her land a date to the wedding.
Firstly, who invites a blind date- someone they have NEVER met to their home?! They've conversed online only. Yeah, no, that was stupid. I was ambivalent about Kelsie (aside from inviting a stranger to her home). I outright didn't like Sawyer. He was a man-whore who get jealous whenever Kelsie would talk to another guy. That was the whole point of taking her under his wing. But, wait! Kelsie is different!! I think what drew Sawyer to Kelsie was she didn't fall at his feet. I just couldn't get into the romance.

Estelle is apartment sitting for her brother. She happens to be a landscape architect and despises the city. Crosby is part of a family owned business currently struggling. It seems most of the businesses use the chain HVAC companies. 
This was short, sweet. Crosby got on my nerves for his sense of responsibility- he is of the opinion since he is the oldest child (3 younger brothers), he has the one solely responsible for the family's business. Estelle had a few moments where she was struck dumb by Crosby's "hotness." *Eye roll* I did like the end where each came to their own decision independently without knowing what the other did.

 

Ms. Ballance talent lies in her understanding of the three H's. With humor, heart and heat she sets out to charmingly seduce readers and seldom does she ever miss the mark. Laughter has the power to heal, uplift and unite. Heart brings commonality making it easier to relate to the words on the page and the characters that bring them to life. Heat gets a reaction and draws readers in to the connection between the main characters. Put these three vital factors together and you get an irresistible tale like Her Sexy Challenge, an addictive and entertaining bundle of fun.

One Sexy Mistake may not be very original in plot, but it makes up for that with creativity. Hilarious characters, awkward scenarios and an abundance of sexual tension made for a desirable mix of fun and heart. Through the eyes of Ms. Ballance awkward becomes sexy. The right length for some holiday fun. Olivia and Grady make for a tempting way keep warm on cold winter nights.

It's a sweet, fun, and quick read. I very much enjoyed reading it. Two computer geeks make one sexy mistake, or may be it isn't a mistake at all. Grady doesn't want a relationship. He is tired of demanding women hence he decides to use online app to hook up with someone he doesn't have to romance. So when he gets a reply from Olivia he can't believe his luck, Not only that she is on the same page as him but she happens to be gorgeous. Or may be that's not even her picture... He will have to wait and see whether is disappointed or it turn out to be a good thing.

Olivia can't believe she agreed to a one night stand with a total stranger. For all she knows he could be a serial killer. But now that her mind is made up she is going to do this. This seems to be the only way to get over her ex and the situation she is in right now. May be this one experience will do her some good after all.

When they meet they are instantly attracted to each other. Both are nervous and things don't really go as they planned but here they are, together, snowed in and trying not to annoy each other too much ;)

It's funny and quirky novel. The whole thing was quite entertaining, made me laugh a lot, at times it was sad, but definitely romantic too. I liked it and I think if you're looking for sweet romantic novel for a cold night then this book is for you.
