This was a fun read. David's past was well known, but Clarice's was not and was a surprise. I loved how these two were willing to look beyond expectations to find love together. David impressed me when he tried to improve his situation so that he could win Clarice. She was stronger than she thought and her acceptance of her past made her more so. The narrator, Janine Haynes, did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.

Through all the misunderstandings and secrets, this was quite a journey for Millie and Alex. With the help of family with gentle and not so gentle pushes, these two figure out what their hearts truly want, despite their flaws. I enjoyed this story as well as all the characters. It was interesting with all the little tidbits of Indian culture thrown in. I loved how Janine Haynes brought the characters to life.

Letter From A Rake is my first historical romance by Sasha Cottman, hopefully it won't be my last.  Ms. Cottman has delivered a well-written book.  The characters are quirky and lovable.  Millie has moved to London with her family after growing up in India.  She's got a major case of homesickness going on.  When she meets her new friend's brothers, Alex makes a bad impression.  Alex and Millie's story is full of drama, humor, steamy sex and missives gone awry.  I enjoyed reading Letter From A Rake and look forward to reading more from Sasha Cottman in the future.  Letter From A Rake is book 1 of The Duke Of Strathmore but can be read as a standalone.  This is a complete story, not a cliff-hanger.

Lady Lucy Radley is looking for love in her marriage but she does want to help Avery get more familiar with the town and his title.
But they accidentally fall in to a rose bush and get caught. They are then forced to marry but Avery thinks that this was Lucy plan all along. Bu Lucy tries to help correct the problem. But they slowly start to trust each other.

Am very impressed with Sasha Cottman. An Unsuitable Match is the story of Clarice and David.
David has loved Clarice secretly for years. When his feelings are revealed Clarice does not know how to react. David is the Illegitimate son of a Duke and she has promised her father she would stay away from him. Gradually her feelings grow and David's grow stronger. Will they work out the problems they face? Lovely story.
