September Wrap Up
  • The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg- BookishPinoys’ September Book of the Month. It’s my first time to join a read-along and I’m happy to do it again. My review here.
  • Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn - I totally love this book. It’s my first Gillian Flynn book and I’ll definitely read her other books. My review here.
  • Insurgent by Veronica Roth - My least favorite among the series.
  • Allegiant by Veronica Roth - I just finished reading this book. I was emotional during the last few chapters and I can say that I’m not disappointed or whatever.

June 2014 in books

June has been a busy month with exams, still I managed to read 12 books. Some of them disappointed me (Valentine Bell/ The Artful) but on the other hand there were some very nice surprises (Roses for a Diva/ The Rise & Fall of Great Powers).

Next month is completely free so far, so lots of time to read! (I still have load of books from Netgalley, so I'll be planning to read them (and stop requesting books for the moment)). Furthermore, I hope to be able to read some of my own books this summer...

Upcoming reads:

*Shattered Veil - Tracy E Banghart
*A Triple Knot - Emma Campion
*Mirror X - Karri Thompson
*Princess Gate - Mark Ellis
*Perfected - Kate Jarvik Birch

May 2014 In Books

May has been a wonderful month for reading for me. 17 books, I think that's a personal record!

Reviews for most of the books are already posted, Netwars - The Code will come soon.

Next month will probably score a lot less, as I have my exams all month. But after that, summer holidays!

Happy reading everyone!

March 2014 in books

March has been a very busy month for me, so I'm surprised I've been able to finish some (great) books at all. Some of them were just very short books but lovely to read (like the stories by Edward Lorn), some were short but very beautiful (like John Boyne's), some were very nice artwork.

I'm now looking forward to two weeks of Easter Holidays to get back on track with my 'normal' reading ( = books over 300 pages).

Happy reading and may the books be ever in your favour!
