Questo libro ha per me un valore affettivo in particolare. Il mio voto dipenderà anche da quello? Può darsi. In ogni caso si tratta di una meravigliosa introduzione sul mondo del tè, un prodotto così semplice da necessitare mille accorgimenti e grande attenzione; una delle bevande più antiche al mondo che ancora oggi conserva la propria bellezza e delicatezza. Il libro parte da una breve storia del tè fino ad arrivare alla preparazione stessa di esso differenziando le varie regioni geografiche e i loro metodi tradizionali.
L'edizione è molto curata e personalmente l'ho trovata davvero splendida, sia nella copertina che nelle illustrazioni e fattezze del libro.

Da diverso tempo volevo leggere questo libro; c'era qualcosa che mi attirava nella famosa "nuova interpretazione" di uno degli autori più grandi della nostra letteratura. In principio pensavo si trattasse di un testo prettamente letterario, sicuramente inusuale e fuori dalle norme, ma comunque un testo dedicato ad un autore specifico.
Dopo le prime pagine mi sono immediatamente resa conto che si trattava di qualcosa del tutto diverso: la storia di una vita; la storia della vita.
In pochissime pagine l'autore riesce a dispiegare e a rapire, le fasi esistenziali del poeta di Recanati divengono speculari a quelle della nostra esistenza. Velatamente le critiche alla società, ai metodi di insegnamento; con forza la decisione nel supportare l'essere umano, in qualunque fase esso si trovi, tramite ciò che ha sempre ispirato i poeti: la bellezza per la vita, il rapimento per la nostra esistenza.
Sicuramente dopo questa lettura, di pessimismo ne rimane ben poco.
