While our story book duo bad boy and good girl are brought together not only does the drama ignite so does their love attraction.

Phoenix of course being the guy he is, is always willing to do whatever it takes for Hayley which he does despite some of the head butting and silliness.

I liked Phoenix who I grew to like instantly, Hayley took me a bit longer to like because there was a sort of on off switch inside her I didn't quite care for however you can also tell there's a vacancy where she's kept the more sensitive areas of her heart under wraps. It was sweet getting to see her melt when we got it and burn when Phoenix wanted it. Phoenix by Madison Sevier is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited time for reading.  Ms Sevier has delivered a well written book full of awesome characters.  Aiden and Hayley's story is full of drama, suspense, humor and sizzle.  I enjoyed Phoenix and look forward to reading more from Madison Sevier in the future.  Phoenix is book 2 of the Asphalt Cowboy Series but can be read as a standalone.  I do suggest reading book 1 (Renegade) too though, so you don't miss out on any of the fun.  This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I think I'm a new fan of truckies/truckers...well maybe, as the one's I've seen usually have BO and a beer gut.
Mason (Renegade) and Savannah are the main characters in this tale and they have some major chemistry happening. He meets her in a truck stop and she's running from her past (her evil ex). Speaking of her evil ex, his dog fighting ring had me furious and teary eyed.
Madison's portrayal of life on the road for a truckie was very real, I could almost smell the diesel.
This story flowed smoothly, I read it in one day. The banter between the characters at time was hilarious. There was drama and action and plenty of sizzle. I just loved it and look forward to reading more in this series.
