I enjoyed the romance but I didn't anticipate the story. It was boring. Chemistry was there, the hero, Mark is hot despite his constant brood, Chelsea is funky girl which I truly did like her personality - so, honestly it was pity the storyline did not go well. How I wish it would be total different.

Read at your own peril.

With this book, I am happy to say that I'm done with the series (except if Ms. Gibson decided to write the next installment). I enjoyed this series so much. It'd been great. Sucker for sports romance for one thing. I am going to miss Chinooks hunky hot boys!

Nothing But Trouble (Chinooks Hockey Tea... To be honest, the thing I like best about this book is its cover. I find men in suits hot. I find men you don't normally associate with suits (such as athletes), who are wearing suits even hotter. I've rated up half a star based on the cover alone.I don't usually like "quirky" (usually meaning they dress in bright colors and/or dye their hair some odd color) heroines. I almost always find them over-done and cliche and it seems like it's often a substitute for real character development. Chelsea's not much of an exception here. I did like that she seemed to wear the unconventional clothes at least partly to get a rise out of the hero. But I still don't like that her character was defined largely by silly clothing choices. Meh. The hero is a much better developed character and his journey is fun to read about. In my review to the 4th book in this series I mentioned that it didn't feel really connected to the first three books in the series. I feel that even more with #5. There are mentions of characters from the first three books, but the tone is different. I prefer the first three, I think. Or maybe just the first two. The third seems like a world unto itself to me.

Aşk Her Yerde (Chinooks Hockey Team, #4)... Ve yine bir Chinooks klasiği. Yalnız bu roman Aşkta İlk Çeyrek kitabını hatırlattı bana. Burada takım ölen patronun dul eşine kalıyor, yalnız kız eski Playboy güzeli ve striptizci. Geçmişinden hiç memnun değil, para için yaptığını da saklamıyor ama herkesin onun hakkında düşündükleri belli. Hokey takımını Virgil'in (ölen patron) oğluna satmaya karar veriyor ama oğlu onu herkesin önünde aşağılayınca satmaktan vazgeçiyor tabi. Bu kararından sonra hokey öğrenmeye çalışıyor ve tabi takımın kaptan Tyson Savage ile aralarında bir elektriklenme oluyor. En başlarda Tyson bundan kaçmaya çalışsa da tabi ki karşı koymayı bırakıyor bir yerde. Maçlar geçiyor, kupa en büyük hayal tabi. Kupa yolunda Faith ve Ty'ın başları biraz ağrıyacak ama tabi mutlu son da gelecek.

Klasik Rachel romanıydı, ben cidden seviyorum bu kadını. Serinin son kitabı kaldı artık yalnızca. Keşke Nemesis bunları sırayla yayınlasaydı da 5. kitaptaki Bo-Jules aşkının öncesini biliyor olsaydım dedim. Artık son kitap için Nemesis'i bekliyoruz.
