My Thoughts....

The author did a wonderful job in her deliverance of 'Unequally Yoked' to the readers. There were
so many times in the read that my heart went out for poor 'lost' Christine. I can't imagine growing up in a loveless home and not being able to talk with my mother, father, sister, brothers, friends[no girlfriends]...teachers...etc.as it was for Christine. It seemed like every one in Christine's family had some sort of problem. Christine seemed to attract bullies [from school]on the daily scene. Definitely Christine needed someone to talk and listen to her. Christine definitely missed her late grandmother's teachings about Lord for she had truly been their for her. With Christine seeking her all in all with boyfriends that were there for one reason only. When it seems like she finally meets someone in the church to finally showing her true love knowing all she had been through, who was a minister, but as it turns out he wasn't really listening to her at all...therefore, things went south too due to the fact they were so 'unequally yoked.' I liked how this author brings out the subject on sex and how it has been dealt with so often in the church's. This novel was definitely not only a good read but one amazing, enlightening and inspiring read offering encouragement to lead one to Christ in the end. I did also enjoy "the book providing a separate Bible study guide and the quote provided by best-selling Author Michelle Stimpson."Would I recommend "Unequally Yoked?"....YES!

'My Thoughts...

This was a beautifully written Christian Romance read that took place in Serendipity, Pennsylvania. I really enjoyed the read from its beginning to the very end. You will find this author giving the reader a read full of 'wit, humor and a beautiful romance' where you will be left being so very inspired by all of the wonderful prayers from this christian walk. At times I was even was left teared up from this read of just how this relationship was developing this second time around. Truly Claire and Donovan were made for each other and it was such a delight seeing how they finally got to this point. I loved the Christmas theme of "The Christmas Challenge" in how it was so well brought out in this well written read Christmas holiday read. You will be left with some 'sweet memories, some drama and a very clean romance. Would I recommend this Christian novel? YES! It is definitely worth your read.

My Thoughts....

"Sugar and Spice" was another good 'Bakery Romance series' that will keep your attention turning the pages to see what happening next. The two main characters Sheila Parks and Mason Smith were well defined and believable giving the reader a good Christian romantic fiction read. For Sheila had been dealt a bad hand from a horrible breakup with her ex[Reese]. It was hard to understand why this ex didn't even tell Sheila that he had a 'twin' brother. When Mason [the other twin] meets Sheila it wasn't a pleasant meeting. Now, I don't want to give too much away about that other than to say it did have me shaking my head and even laughing a bit. However, things do start to look up for this heroine because employment is what she needed at this time and Mason was there to help her out. However, there was still something that was bothering Sheila. Would she be able to share with Mason and listen to her friend and mom? For Mason will there be some help out their for him that he had needed for a long time? I like how these two were put together in this sweet romantic story. We find both of the characters had some problems that needed fixing. How will this all be worked out for Sheila and Mason? Will they get their HEA in the end? Again, you will have to pick up the good novella to see how this author brings it all out so well to the readers. Would I recommend? YES, the whole Bakery Romance series: "Raspberry Kisses, Shades Of Chocolate, Sweet Dreams and this read....Sugar and Spice" that you will truly enjoy. Oh, I almost forgot...those amazing sweet treats that were from Mason's bakery sounded like some good eats.
