Case Closed: A Novel (Czech Literature Series) - Patrik Ouredník Cleverly subverts the expectation, created by the cover copy, that the book itself will contain an appreciable amount of clever subversion. Too clever by more than half, which is the percentage of storylines and/or character sketches that turn out to go absolutely nowhere.
