Crazy book, crazy characters, way fun. I think this is actually better than the first book in the series, [b:Au bonheur des ogres|1228958|Au bonheur des ogres (Malaussène, #1)|Daniel Pennac|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1182070795s/1228958.jpg|3031176]. It's a good mystery without being gory, with loveable characters. Not the stereotypical genre piece.
I don't know what it is about the French, but I am starting to develop an addiction. They challenge and mesmerize me like no other.
Good Guy with a crazy family and even crazier job gets caught up in bombings where he works. And solves the mystery whodunnit. There's some very human humor and warmth in this mystery novel, and the main character is flawed and unprepared for what happens. It wasn't amazing writing, but I thoroughly enjoyed this easy read.
