Bitterblue is the long awaited sequel to Graceling and Fire. It starts off eight years after the end of Graceling, and centers around the ruined country of Monsea. It has political intrigue, cruelty, action, romance, drama and a quizzical heroine set upon finding out what's her country's really like, and what secrets those around her-- such as her advisers--are hiding from her.
While this book is as stunningly written as Cashor's former works, I could not give it the five stars I gave the other two.
Don't get me wrong, I loved this book very, very much, but there were just a few things about it that prevented me from loving it as much as the former two....
