Inhalt:

Episode Zero erzählt in sieben packenden Episoden die Vorgeschichte der FF XIII – Hauptcharaktere und schildert die Ereignisse, die unmittelbar zu den Geschehnissen im neuen Teil der Final Fantasy-Saga führten.

Meine Meinung:
Ich war sehr neugierig auf die Vorgeschichten der Charaktere vom Spiel.
Ich habe auch eine Menge erfahren, aber leider war es oft zu langatmig. Man hatte das Gefühl man kommt nicht vom Fleck. Ich habe sehr lange für das Buch gebraucht und dann das Spiel angefangen, so konnte ich einige Wege verknüpfen was vorher unklar war.
Das Buch ist nicht unnötig aber es fehlt ihm an etwas mehr Power.
Mehr kann ich auch nicht schreiben da man das Spiel kennen müßte ;)
So erfährt man warum Lightning so ist. Was es mit Snow auf sich hat und natürlich mit Vanilla mein kleiner Liebling im Spiel. Hope finde ich im Buch wie im Spiel ziemlich anstrengend.

Pluspunkte:

- Es fehlt an Schwung

So I just saw the movie (English ver.) today & would like to share a few thoughts on it, i'll try to keep it short. I live in Indonesia and the movie was out yesterday.

First of all, the visuals were absolutely stunning. The CGI was definitely the highlight here, everything was just extremely detailed & awe-inspiring to look at. Action sequences were intense & the sound design was fantastic. As for the voice acting, I thought they were great. Some parts can sound a bit off & awkward but nothing out of the line honestly. I thought I couldn't picture Lena Headey without thinking of Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones, but man she did an excellent job here as Luna. I'd say she is my favorite character from the movie. I'm also getting quite of Final Fantasy versus XIII vibe & throwbacks throughout the whole movie, so for long time fans you'll appreciate this movie even more.

My only complain for this movie would be the editing & transitions. There were a lot of cuts in my opinion so the pacing can get a bit convoluted Final Fantasy XV Gil. I wish they allowed more breathing room for each scene so I could fully grasp whats going on for the story & better flow for the action sequences.

Overall I really did enjoy this movie & would love to watch it again. If I had to rate it, I'd give the movie an 8/10.

I would really recommend to watch it on the big screen / theatres if you have the chance to do so, it's definitely worth it. Some of you are probably watching it tomorrow for the U.S. release, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I think we might be in for a hell of a journey with Noct and Co. It looks like Ignis has some new scars as well. Someone else said that he might be blind, and I think they might be right. There are definitely some new scars around both of his eyes. I kept playing the scene over and over again because I was thinking that I might be mistaking his hair (going behind his glasses...weird, I know, but checking all bases before they are belong to you). However, I don't think that's that case. It must be a scar. Gladio's scar, Ignis' scars (look closely at the first one. The scar coming below the glasses is thicker than that hair going into the glasses. Unless his hair is running into some magic hair tonic, it can't be that bundle of hair coming out of the other side of the glasses)... I am starting to think this journey is not going to be easy (at least story wise). I am getting hyped again.

Personally, I am really hoping that Noctis and the other age throughout the game. Having the experience take place over the course of multiple years will make the story much more effective than if they just do a time skip.

Come to think of it, Tabata-San explicitly said that "Before facing the end boss, you will have one last opportunity to go anywhere in the game world that you have already been" (aka if you don't think you're ready to face the final boss you can bum around the game world playing mini games and grinding until you think you are prepared).

This heavily implies that the party's aging will take place over the course of the game and by the end we will be able to travel around as "King Noctis Lucis Caelem" and quite honestly, that is going to be absolutely freaking amazing!

Nah, I don't think that would be the case. Would it not be extremely jarring to jump forward in time at the end of the game? Where would younger Noctis be left off that the final conflict has to wait several years? It would make way more sense for them to age more slowly over the course of the game, and if a time jump is absolutely necissary, I think it would happen more towards the middle, not at the end.
