There are TONS of bad reviews on this book and I figured it would be a DNF for me. I ended up enjoying it well enough to keep going. Did I love it? No, but it was a pretty decent read. It was a good book to kill some time with. The pacing was good and kept me interested. I even liked the characters.

If you have a special interest in Greek mythology then you probably would be annoyed with The Goddess Test. The characters that play the Greek gods are unbelievable. I just pretended that it had nothing to do with them. Those guys were nothing like I'd expect Greek gods to be.

That's about all I have to say, I didn't feel strongly about this book either way. This is the first book in the series, and in my opinion it can be read as a standalone.
