The Summer House: A gorgeous feel good romance that will have you hooked - Jenny Hale

A great beach read set in . . . a beach house! I enjoyed reading this book, while a little cheesy sometimes, it was a fun read. The blurb was absolutely correct in saying "a gorgeous, feel good romance that will have you hooked"! The added bonus of a secret diary hiding a huge secret made it very interesting, as well.

Thanks to Bookouture and Net Galley for providing me with a free e-galley in exchange for an honest, unbiased opinion.

With Good Intentions: A Historical Romance novella (Secret Identity Book 1) - Jo Huddleston

WITH GOOD INTENTIONS by Jo Huddleston
Wanted to read this book because I like how the author describes everything in such detail she makes you feel you are there.
This one starts out with William Wentworth of his father's development company and he's been sent down to Conroy, Alabama and it's the year 1959. There is just one ice cream shop owned by women who won't sell so the company can remake the whole area around the college town.
Story also follows Jean Stewart and her mother who own and run the ice cream shop. William arrives in town and gives her an alias name and does overhear their money troubles while dining at the hotel lounge one night...
He listens to her story and dreams and knows what he can do to make it all right but will she ever forgive him for lying about his name and why he's in town?
Clean romance and think another book for a series could be written about their lives today or their kids lives and how the town grew over the years.
I was given the book by the author via Book Fun (The Book Club Network) and this is my honest review

Good Story and Characters
WARM WINTER KISSES a feel good Christmas romance novel - JILL STEEPLES

Beth was offered a job with Rocco who was a celebrity chef. Rocco owns a restaurant and is best friends with a famous guitarist Zac Stranger and Rocco has an on and off relationship with supermodel Pandora. Beth liked being a temp then she could choose the jobs she wanted to take. Beth had just finished a contract with a globe trotting CEO from Investment Bank which consisted of twelve hour days and no real time for herself. Beth’s live in boyfriend broke up with her they had been together five years. Beth had never had the great depth of love her ex Martin had for her. Lexi was Beth’s sister and had accepted the job with Rocco for Beth. Even though Beth was feeling down and thought about taking some time off. Sarah was a PA and rocco said the contract would be for three months. Beth would be keeping track of what Rocco should be doing and when. Sarah goes to Rocco’s country estate as that is where she is to work. As time goes on Sarah tries to hide her growing passion for Rocco.

This was an enjoyable story as well as well written. It was predictable but still a good read. I enjoyed the back and forth between Rocco and Sarah. I also laughed while reading this. This was one of those stories that just makes you feel good although not really very realistic. It was an easy read. Some of the story does seem a little rushed. But I did feel the insecurities Sarah felt were very justified. This story had a good plot. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of the story. I recommend.

I received an ARC of this  story for an honest review.

WESTERN ROMANCE: Cowboy Romance: Love of A Good Cowboy (Western Historical Short Story Romance) (Adult Alpha Male Rancher Contemporary Suspense Mystery Series Book 1) - S. Bridges

This was a good quick story and I look forward to reading the rest. Ryleigh is looking for evidence of a land grabber and possible murderer. She helps the next family he has targeted. Zeke bumps into her and does not believe her story, yet he welcomes her into his home. Their connection is strong but not enough to overcome his mistrust of the press and her story. When he pushes her away, his regret is strong when she prints the proof without hurting his family. At last he admits his mistake, and their happiness knows no bounds.

I was given a chance to read this story in exchange for an honest review. This review is only for this story, not the bonus material.

HOOKED on this series
Meant for Me (A Good Riders Romance Book 3) - Jacie Floyd

I finally had a chance to read book 3 of Jacie Floyd's "Good Riders Romance" series, I can honestly say I'm HOOKED! Please read the previous 2 books in the series, before you read 'Meant for Me' just so you don't miss out on the previous couples. I think for me, 'Meant for Me' was the best so far. I loved how we started 10 years prior, seeing how 17 year old Nicole & 18 year old Mitch first meet & the circumstances into why they never forgot one another. Then finally running into each other 10 years later, getting a brief overview into what's been happening to them both within that time. I started reading this book late last night (at around 9.30) & didn't finish until 3am, MAJOR book hangover, thank goodness it's holiday time.

I loved everything within this story, the characters interactions, the storyline, then the history... all drew me in & kept me reading until the very end. I can't wait to read what Jacie has instore next in this series.
